Description |
Rectangular cardboard box whose top comes completely off to reveal a maroon box bottom with a yellow cardboard insert; cardboard insert opens upward and stands upright; insert has slits for two instruction booklets; the insert on the box bottom has various compartments and openings for set materials; the middle insert has a red wooden test-tube holder with 10 holder openings; above the holder is a row of seven wooden chemical containers with twist tops; to the left of the holder is a vertical row of three wooden chemical containers with twist tops; below the holder is a horizontal row of red and white paper packages with congo red, blue litmus, and blank test sheets; to the right of the holder are compartments for a glass pipette, a wooden cork with a glass tube handle, two glass tubes, stainless steel tongs, and a wire brush; the test-tube holder itself contains a stainless steel spoon, a wax candle, two empty glass test-tubes, and six test-tubes with wooden corks filled with chemical compounds; set contains the following chemicals: Aluminum ammonium sulfate Ammonium chloride Calcium oxide Cobalt chloride Ferric ammonium sulfate Iron powder Logwood Phenolphthalein solution Sodium bisulfate Sodium ferrocyanide Sodium silicate solution Sodium thiosulfate Sulfur Tannic acid Trisodium phosphate |
