Rectangular wooden box containing 8 brass weights ranging from 5 milligrams to 50 grams and 9 aluminium (?) fractional weights; brass weights have specific holes; fractionals are divided in smaller compartment with glass cover that lifts off; steel tweezers are below the fractional compartment; top is secured by two metal hooks on bottom that hook over two metal posts on top; top and bottom inside areas that touch weights are covered in black velvet; original documentation on inside cover. |
