The Specular Reflectance Attachment permits the use of Perkin-Elmer Model 137B, 137G, 137 KBr, 237 and 202 Spectrophotometers for measuring the absorbance of organic and inorganic films deposited on a reflecting surface, for measuring of spectral relectivity, and for determining the thickness of thin film. It can be mounted so that liquid and powder samples, as well as thick samples, can be conveniently analyzed. Diffused surfaces such paper and non-glossy paints, cannot be analyzed with this attachment. |
