Provenance |
One of the first infrared analyzers specifically designed for monitoring vehicle exhaust gases (CO, CO2, mixed hydrocarbons). The analyzer would be attached to the back seat of a vehicle. A tube would then be run from the exhaust pipe into the battery pack unit (missing from this example) and then into the analyzers. Once the reading was taken, the gas would be expelled through another tube through the vehicle window. |
