Description |
Once the metal latch is unfastened, box (aluminum?) opens to reveal three panels; middle panel has two styrofoam casings which have indentations to house sixteen blue plastic chemical bottles with white screw tops; bottles have the following chemicals: ammonium chloride, gum arabic, cobalt chloride, sulfur, calcium chloride, sodium silicate solution, phenolphthalein solution, tannic acid, sodium ferrocyanide, manganous sulfate, sodium thiosulfate, ferric ammonium sulfate, sodium salicylate, borax, sodium bisulfate, and aluminum sulfate; right panel has two styrofoam casings; top panel has indentations for a white aluminum beaker holder with blue plastic supports; holder can house six beakers; below the area for the beaker holder is a hollow rectangular area to house various tools, including a blue plastic scooper, a pipette, two glass beakers, and one plastic off-white beaker; bottom styrofoam casing houses a blue plastic two-pan balance with removable pans that have styrofoam supports; left panel has two styrofoam panels; one is houses the instruction booklet and the other houses various tools: a glass alcohol lamp; an aluminum beaker holder/tongs; two small plastic sample holders; a steel wire brush; a white plastic device (possibly a stand/support); a stick of chromatography paper sheets; and three circular red and white plastic containers with blue litmus paper, copper wire, and logwood chips. |
