Description |
Mixed media collage based on styrofoam instrument housing, covered with painted tissue paper. A small natural gourd is affix to the upper right side, and an envelope has been attached at center. At bottom right sits a small cast brick with a mask. Stamps from Greece, Japan, and the Cote d'Ivoire are pasted to the surface. A synthetic cord has been attached across the surface of the work, stretching loosely from left to right, attached at the right hand side to a small wooden peg inserted into the styrofoam. |
