[no serial number in Bodensee Database] Components, from Bodensee Database: .1 Device [A] .2 Power Supply, Ser.Nr.: 183 [B] Notes from Bodensee Database: Third 021 device in West Germany. Gold mirror in source light housing. Built early 1950s. There are [were] three 021 instruments in the Bodensee Collection. See No. 217 and No.157 [both apparently now in Clausthal]. A: Gray metal structure with instrument panel on the right side; instrument panel features six dials, three switches, and two buttons; a metal cylinder extends outward from the middle of the instrument, with glass tubing and a cable attached; the left side consists of a base with a black cylindrical component that spins; underneath the black cylinder is a scale and two glass-covered gauges; there are additional dials and controls along the bottom front of the instrument. B: IR Power Supply for the Model 21 Gray, stainless steel, rectangular box; vents throughout; a cover with two handles is screwed in place; the front includes a switch, two fuses, and an indicator light; three sockets in the back; a gray power cord extends from the rear. |
