Description |
A chromolithograph after Italian painter Roberto Fanuzzi (1899–1976) illustrating an experiment with a mouse and a binocular microscope before a group of men and women scientists. The original painting is in the Facoltà di Medicina e Chirurgia (the Department of Medicine and Surgery) at the University of Florence in Italy. Fanuzzi was well-known for his group portraits of medical societies and schools throughout Europe and North America, as well as his depictions of the Second World War. After World War II, Fanuzzi moved to Venezuela where he remained for the rest of his life. |
