Description |
Stainless steel jack with glass front and iron top and bottom; top and bottom of jacket have holes in them and clamps on the sides that allow the jack to be attached to a pole of some type; inside the jacket are two thermometers that are graduated from 0-400C in 1 degree divisions, two slide-wire rheostats, two heating units, and one fractional column; the column is 25mm wide, has 19/32" standard taper joints and is packed with Pyrex helices 3/32" in dia.; there is a conical shaped stainless steel mesh support on end that holds packing in position; column attaches to the still head which is in the top of the jacket; glass bulb and the bottom allows for the attachment of a round bottom flask full of liquid to be distilled; rubber coated power sources have been added to top and bottom |
