Perkin-Elmer Demountable Cell is equipped with an 8 mm compensating window that can be used in the reference beam of double beam spectrophotometers. It can be assembled in a variety of ways to suit the sample. For liquid samples the cell will normally be assembled with a spacer. Without spacers it can be used with capillary films and solid materials that can be melted between windows. With a single window the cell is suitable for running highly viscous materials, mulls or films deposited by solvent evaporation. |
