"My father, Nicholas Gehshan, was a research chemist at Rohm & Haas in the 50s and 60s. One day he came home from the lab with a curious thing - a plastic drinking glass. Before that drinking glasses were glass or metal. They made them in 2 colors to simulate gold and silver, but they looked like yellowish brown and gray. On the bottom they say "Implex A."
