Description |
A: Refractometer Black enamel-coated bronze base; base has a small support to attach mirror (B; see below); telescope structure is supported by a black enamel-coated bronze; telescope is attached to the support so that it can pivot; telescope and attached prisms have metallic appearance; a horizontal tube allows liquid intake device to be screwed into it (C; see below); prism area can be opened by turning a dial on its front that unhinges it from the main telescope device. B: Mirror Circular mirror on both sides; mirror has a black metal frame and is attached to a semi-circle black support; mirror can be rotated/spun; bottom of semi-circle support has a brass protrusion which connects it to the refractometer's base. C: Liquid Intake Device Metallic (steel?) cylindrical tube; top/top side of tube has a slit opening to pour liquid into; bottom of tube can be screwed into refractometer. |
