Description |
Black-coated rectangular cardboard case; top opens upward and stands upright via a piece of black ribbon that connects it to the box bottom; inside of box top is a Microset advertisement; box bottom has three main gold cardboard panels within black cardboard boxes; left box has two black cardboard boxes of slide labels and cover glasses secured by black string; below the boxes are a glass stir rod and stainless steel tongs, also secured by string; below the tongs is a row of 10 glass slides; middle panel has a vertical row of corked test-tubes with a honey bee, bird feathers, and diatomaceous earth specimens; next to the test-tubes is the 125-power microscope; its main viewing tube is stainless steel and the base and arm are black-coated cast iron; right panel has two empty glass test-tubes, a glass bottle of cover glass sealing liquid, an empty glass bottle for specimen collections, a steel poking needle with a wooden holder, a packet of lens cleaning tissue, and a magnifying glass secured to a black cast-iron base; set also comes with an instruction manual and an inspection certificate. |
