Description |
Grey metal instrument; cylindrical main body supported by three legs in a tripod configuration; topped with domed lid with a central hole for exhaust; small hinged door located on rear of instrument roughly midway up cylinder; door opens to reveal remains of glass atomizer/burner held along axis of cylinder; opposite door is a glass lens or diffuser inset into a tube extending from the main cylinder at a right angle; a filter wheel with a place for four filters (only contains three) is near the end of the tube extension; a glass bottle with a stoppered top rests between the tripod legs; the stopper has two glass tubes which allow access to the interior of the bottle; the glass tubes are connected to two red-orange rubber tubes, one is cut off and the other connects to the burner within the instrument; this assembly rests atop a black base with four metal legs; a support rod rises out of the right rear corner of the black base and still holds a vestige of a smaller diameter rubber tube.
