Description |
Rectangular wooden box with a black synthetic covering; box top is secured with a metal latch on the box front, but the box top is now completely detached from the bottom; within box top is a cardboard insert of instructions; box bottom has a raised black wooden platform; 48 steel protrusions protrude from the platform in a 6x8 grid; on each side of the grid is a steel "wand" secured with a wire covered in green fabric; the wands are used to touch the steel protrusions to match a question protrusion with the correct answer protrusion; presumably a buzzing sound occurs from a circular steel bell-like object to the left of the grid; set comes with 29 cardboard inserts with 48 circular holes to correspond to the grid (insert lays on top); topics include, e.g., animals, state nicknames, fish, and historical discoveries; to the left of the platform is a steel cylindrical object and a detached steel wire which apparently are used with the telegraph transmitter, which is located above the grid. |
