Kit housed in wooden box with box joints; metal carrying handle at top; four black rubber feet at bottom; unlatching single clasp allows two sections, one deeper than the other, to hinge open; each section is covered by a thin plastic top with a paper frame; shallower section contains: instruction sheet, a magnifier, a butterfly, and a 7 piece dissecting kit; the deeper section houses: a microscope with a screw focus, four objective lenses, and a light source that can swivel between a mirror and a lamp; four glass containers with plastic lids for eosin (only container still full), gum media, brine shrimp eggs, and sea salt; a plastic container with six glass slides; a plastic container with fiber samples; a plastic container for cover slips and labels; a slide holder; a spare bulb; an empty glass jar. |
