Burlap soap bag, stretched and framed. Printed with the logo of the "Simplex Soap" brand, a propietary mark of H. Kohnstamm & Co. H. Kohnstamm & Co were manufacturers of soaps, laundry equipment, dyes, pigments, food colorings, and other color applications, operating in New York and Chicago from 1851 to their acquisition by Sensient Technologies in 1988. Two color printing process (black and red). Simplex Soap was introduced during the 1930s. |
