Rectangular iron base; 3 metal support rods perpendicular to the base with circular iron top; adjustable stand attached to support rods; on top of iron top is a meter with a mechnical stirrer and a large circular metal gear that controls a spool of string; power cord for stirrer. B. Thermometer in holder on door of carrying case C. Carrying case. Rectangular wooden case; metal handle on top; swinging lid on the front surface; two metal hooks to keep lid closed; inside box are wooden support pieces. D. Metal paddle-like stirrer. Attaches to mechanical stirrer on Viscosimeter. E. Viscosimeter component. Brass disk (to hold weights) with brass rod attached perpendicular, brass hook on top of rod that attaches to the string on the viscosimeter F-K. Brass weights that attach to D. Range from 25 grams to 1kilo |
