Description |
A: Copper structure. Round copper base; main structure is a large copper cylinder with an arched cutout and a reservoir at the top; on the side of that cylinder is a copper fixture with a glass tube; connected to the top is another copper cylinder, attached at one point to the larger cylinder and standing on two slim metal rods; the smaller cylinder is double-walled and has several attached fixtures and an open top with a slot (probably for the thermometer). Location: 6W16.2 B: Glass mercury thermometer. Long glass tube with small loop at top; paper scale and manufacturing label inside. Location: 5W.19.5.4 Glassware Box 53 Tray B C: Cylindrical copper plated lamp. Small handle on one side; three cotton wicks with metal rims; fits into the large, hollow cylinder in part A.
