Sample was prepared by Sophus Mads Jorgensen in his laboratory at the University of Copenhagen. Together with Christian Blomstran, Jorgensen advocated the chain theory and spent 30 years investigating the coordination of compounds. Alfred Werner used Jorgensen's research to support his Coordination Theory. The donor received the samples while on sabbatical in Denmark. |
