Provenance |
According to Rich Paselk's history of the Abbe Refractometer, Bausch & Lomb began manufacturing refractometers around 1919 and introduced a slow-motion screw in 1926. This instrument lacks the screw and was presumably manufactured before 1926. http://www2.humboldt.edu/scimus/RefracExhibit/EvolAbbeRef/EvolAbbeRef.htm |
