Bleeding Bowl, maker unknown Large brass bleeding bowl; shape formed by two nested and similarly molded thin metal sheets, the topmost sheet folds over the lower; seven sets of two-letter marks are pressed into the flat lip of the bowl; semicircular notch in side wall of bowl; "1752" pressed on lip of bowl in large numbers across from notch; "BLEED ME LIGHT" pressed into the base of the bowl, somewhat off center. |
